Terms & Conditions

Thank you for using The Peachy Studio

 

Set out below are the Terms on which The Peachy Studio provides services to it’s clients. Please ensure that you have read and fully understood them prior to booking or using The Peachy Studio Website. By using The Peachy Studio website (“the Website”)  or booking the services The Peachy Studio (“we”, “our” or “us”) provides you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“the Terms”).

 

  1. Bookings & Deposits

    1. For all bookings we require 50% of the total service amount as a fully refundable deposit to confirm the appointment.

    2. The deposit is refunded should you need to cancel, or when your service is completed, the deposit will be deducted from your total service cost.

    3. Should you need to cancel your appointment we kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice before your appointment. This allows us to manage the diary and offer the appointment to another client. Failure to give the full notice will result in the deposit being taken in by The Peachy Studio.

  2. Payments & Charges

    1. All payments are to be made via Bank Transfer or Cash.

    2. 50% deposits are to be paid to secure bookings as explained in section 1 of the Terms.

    3. Upon completion of services booked the remaining amount is to be paid in full. Should you fail to pay for the services immediately we reserve the right to take further action, including but not limited to legal action and additional charges for late payment. 

    4. We do our utmost to provide a true quote for all services prior to them being carried out. You will receive written confirmation of quotes obtained by our Hair Health Consultation in the Booking Confirmation communication via text and/or email.

    5. Should additional services be required on the day of the appointment we reserve the right to charge for them at our discretion. We do our utmost to communicate fees clearly prior to a service being carried out and notify our clients regularly of our services and rates.

  3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

    1. As stated in Term 1.3, should you need to cancel your appointment we kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice before your appointment. Please email thepeachystudio (at) jodieausten.co.uk or call or message +447902825981 as soon as you know you need to cancel.

    2. The Peachy Studio reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service booked.

    3. To reschedule appointment, we also kindly request 48 hours notice prior to the service booking. The deposit for you original booking will be held on your account and transferred as a deposit towards your rescheduled booking.   4. Skin Testing

    1. For all colour services a skin test is required a minimum of 48 hours prior to the service being carried out. This is to ensure that you are not allergic to the product.

    2. Should you be allergic to the product you simply have to let us know and we can look into using an alternative product or service.

    3. We reserve the right to cancel any services should we find you have failed to (not limited to):

      1. Perform the Skin Test

      2. Supply evidence of date and application

      3. Honestly disclose the outcome of the Skin Test

    5. A skin test will be provided to you to do. We send out the skin test to your address with clear instructions. Any questions you have please simple contact The Peachy Studio by email to thepeachystudio (at) jodieausten.co.uk or call / message (+44) 07902825981

    6. We ask you to provide us with all of the following evidence:

      • Photograph/s of the skin test applied to the skin with a newspaper or printed document with a date clearly visible and legible. 

      • Photograph/s of the results of the skin test. Should you react to the skin test it is paramount that you record the reaction. Reactions can occur from the minute you apply the product to the skin or up to 24 hours after so it is important that you share with The Peachy Studio any irritation or evidence of the skin reaction over the full 48 hour time period of the skin test.

  5. Liability

    1. Not withstanding any other provision in the Terms, nothing in these Terms will affect or limit your rights as a consumer under English Law; or will exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence.

    2. The Peachy Studio will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.

    3. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he or she provide The Peachy Studio with all relevant medical details prior to each service (including, without limitation, pregnancy, medical treatments and medication). The Peachy Studio will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.

    4. The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by or on behalf of The Peachy Studio with regard to the care of your hair.

  6. Data Protection Act and GDPR

    1. The Peachy Studio shall implement and maintain reasonable procedures to protect personal information in compliance with applicable law and The Peachy Studio Privacy Policy

    2. Certain registration information and other information about you may be collected by The Peachy Studio and through the Service. The Peachy Studio use of this information is governed by The Peachy Studio Privacy Policy

  7. Your right to complain

    1. The Peachy Studio endeavours to treat all its client’s appropriately, compassionately and fairly. If however you have an issue with any matter in relation to your treatment at The Peachy Studio you are entitled to lodge a complaint, either in person, by telephone or in writing. If you require assistance with making your complaint, The Peachy Studio will be pleased to help and support you through the process.
